The Starry Night (Cypresses and Village) is an oil on canvas painted in 1889 by the artist Vincent Van Gogh and kept in New York at The Museum of Modern Art. Undisputed masterpiece among the most famous works of Van Gogh, the Starry Night represents a landscape where on the left of the picture a cypress stands out towards the sky with a fluctuating movement similar to a flame. Behind it is a mountain landscape with olive trees on the right and a village in which the bell tower of a church is clearly visible. In the upper part the night sky in which the bright stars stand out. The Starry Night is a painting with a strong impressionist accent in which long and flat juxtaposed brushstrokes move in the sky and in the landscape creating a strong sense of movement and suggesting subjects such as the clouds floating in the middle. The Starry Night is therefore an imaginary vision where the artist becomes the interpreter of reality and transforms a simple dark and nocturnal sky into a dance of color where blue brushstrokes blend in delicate green to meet the intense and luminous yellows of the stars. The print on the canvas of the The Starry Night is in high resolution and thanks to the application of the paint effect with brushstrokes with pictorial effects in relief, it assumes its character of a work of art present in the original. In addition, the painting by Van Gogh can be embellished by adding a color chosen by the customer who covers the edge of the canvas; this colored border, which acts as a false frame, facilitates insertion even in modern environments with a contemporary design. Shopart proposes the Van Gogh Night Starry panel also in a printed version on a 2 cm thick MDF wood panel and a poster version printed on thick paper for artistic reproductions of 260 gr.
