Composition VIII is an abstract painting, painted in oil on canvas in 1923 by the artist Wassily Kandinsky and kept in New York at the Guggenheim Museum. Kandinsky considers Composition VIII to be one of his most important post-war paintings. The artist applies his formal and chromatic correspondences to create rich contrapuntal effects, such as warm yellow and cold blue that are visible throughout the picture and especially in the background. Above the background emerge the geometric figures dear to Kandinsky in his abstract period, circles, lines, triangles and sinuous lines give movement to the composition. Shopart proposes Composition VIII by Kandinsky in different formats such as poster fine art, printing on mdf table with a thickness of 2 cm with the black-edged bevelled edge and finally printing on canvas. All the products offered by Shopart are in high resolution and are printed with the Giclée technique with eight colors with pure water-based pigments that are explicitly suitable for fine artistic reproductions. Shopart gives the possibility to add as a finish to Kandinky's canvas prints, the relief brush-effect paint that gives the print a finish similar to oil paintings. This varnish, transparent and non-toxic, specifically designed for Shopart, is applied like a brush on canvas prints and on mdf boards. It leaves the mark of the brushstrokes and is visible both to the eye and to the touch. the canvas print of Composition VIII by Kandinsky, finished with the brush-effect paint of Shopart, will make the wall of the house that will host it unique and elegant.
