Futurism
Futurism is an artistic movement born in 1909 thanks to the Italian poet and writer Filippo Tommaso Marinetti. In Futurist painting, movement, action and works are enhanced by modernity, and from the stylistic point of view it is based on the concepts of divisionism, with juxtaposed brushstrokes mimicking the idea of speed. Futurism shares the principle of decomposing the form experienced by the cubists, but only to extrapolate the visual sense of speed and movement.
